Spending the last 37 years in Bloomington means I’ve had plenty of time to get to know and love this city. From new businesses and restaurants to local markets and downtown events… from Route 66 nostalgia to welcoming young people to our community every fall… our city has plenty to be excited about. And as your mayor, I want to capitalize on all that is good and exciting in our community to make it even better.

Building Bloomington Together is my vision for the wonderful city we call home. As mayor, I’ll work to accelerate economic growth, invest in our city’s infrastructure, and provide balanced leadership for a diverse community.

Mike has lived in our community for 37 years. He and his wife just celebrated 28 years together. Helping people, solving problems, and growing businesses have been the defining themes of Mike’s life and work.
